tweensimageFounder’s Day: Cardboard Car Show 

Create a cardboard car and enter it in the contest, plus “drive” it in the Founder’s Day Parade. There will also be a drive-in movie for the cars at 6:30 p.m.

Your car and this entry form must be brought to the Chamber office, 114 E. Main, for check-in by noon on May 11. Judging will take place before 2:00 and prizes awarded in time for cars to be “driven” in parade at 3:00 p.m.

Each category below will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize ribbons and trophies.

NOTE: COME to this free event on May 4 and get cardboard and supplies to make your car!

boycarCategories and Entry Rules:

Mini Motors ( 0 – 10 yrs) – this category is for kids who received assistance from adults… or in many cases where the adult created the entire car for the child and the child put in minimal effort.

Kid Creations (3 -10 ) – this is a KIDS only category… participants must create their own cars with little assistance from adults. Participants may receive assistance from other kids (ages 18 and under) but the majority of the car structure and design must be done by the participant himself/herself.

Tween Dreams (11 – 14 ) – this is a tween only category… participants must create their girlcarown cars with little assistance from adults. Participants may receive assistance from other kids (ages 18 and under) but the majority of the car structure and design must be done by the participant himself/herself.

Teen Scene  (15 to 18 ) – this is a teen only category… participants must create their own cars with little assistance from adults. Participants may receive assistance from other kids (ages 18 and under) but the majority of the car structure and design must be done by the participant himself/herself.

womancarAdult (19+) – only adults may enter this category… participants must create their own cars. Participants may receive assistance from others but the majority of the car structure and design must be done by the participant himself/herself.

Entries will be judged based on overall creativity and originality as well as interior and exterior design.

NOTE: All entries must allow for the driver to actually fit into the car and walk with it.

Cardboard Car Show Entry Form
