- Small Business Holiday Open House

Small Business Saturday Celebration
November 30, 10 am-6 pm
Help the town celebrate Small Business Saturday by participating in a Holiday Open House. If you sell crafts or handmade items, be a vendor or come and shop or both! There will be vendor space both inside and outside downtown. Vendor fee is $10 for an indoor table (limited spaces-sign up early) or $20 for outside.
Also, there will be Santa pictures at Wonder City Coffee from 2-5:30 and the lighting of the town Christmas tree at 6:00 p.m.

Gingerbread House Decorating Contest
December 7, Noon-2 pm
This is a new and exciting event for Locust Grove. Groups of 1-4 people can join together to decorate a gingerbread house. All materials will be supplied by the Chamber, although you may bring additional decor and frosting. Bring your own aprons and utensils. $10 entry fee per house.

Christmas Light Pole Decoration Contest
Last year’s first attempt at light pole decoration on the old-fashioned light poles on Main Street was a great success. Every light pole was assigned to someone, so let’s have that same excellent participation again! Individuals or groups can sign up to decorate a pole in time for Christmas.
NOTE: If your pole has a WaterWays banner on it, the LGAA has given permission for you to take it down and paint it to go with your Christmas theme.

Winners will be announced at the Christmas Parade on Dec. 10.

December 10, 7:00 p.m.
(Parade line-up starting at 6:00 p.m. at old high school parking lot)
This year’s Christmas parade will be on Dec. 10, and the theme is The 12 Days of Christmas, so get your partridge in a pear tree together . . . or seven swans swimming . . . six geese a-laying . . . or a more traditional theme of the actual 12 days from Christmas to the Epiphany.
The float entry fee is $20. All others in the parade (cars, bands, animals, etc.) are free. ALL PARTICIPANTS must fill out the entry form below to participate. You can download the form and fill it out or fill out the online registration form below. Float entries can pay with Pay Pal at the link below the form.
