LG Flea Market & Sale Barn

Join us for our 2nd annual Independence Day Celebration, which will include the Miss Liberty pageant, BBQ rib cook-off, horseshoe tournament, music, entertainment and much more. This year, we will also have a Mr. Liberty contest. Check back as details become available.

The Miss Liberty and Mr. Liberty Contest is open to youth ages 6-18, and there are three categories:

Little Ms and Mr. Liberty (Ages 6-9)

Miss and Mr. Liberty (Ages 10-12)

Miss and Mr. Teen Liberty (Ages 13-18)

9:30 a.m.: National Anthem, sung by First Baptist Church music minister Justin Scuggins

9:45-3:00 p.m.: Independence Day Poem-Making with the Rural Oklahoma Museum of Poetry

10:00-Noon: Music by Ed Pot-Belly Biggs

10:00-Noon: Face-Painting art by Hysteria Artistry (Claudia Biendl)

11:00: Horseshoe Tournament

11:00-3:00: Patriotic Rock Painting with Tina Carlile (all supplies provided)

Noon–Until supplies run out:  Chili-Cook-Off: Frito Pies & Chili Dogs

Noon: Crowning of Miss and Ms Liberty

12:15: Ticket-drawing for prizes from Miss Liberty sales

1:00-3:00 p.m.: Music by Tristan Cook

1:30 p.m.: Watermelon-Eating and Spitting Contests

The First Baptist Church will have free popsicles.
